REEL THANX VIETNAM

Reel Thanx Vietnam was created in 2013 to honor the veterans of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Inspired by founder Mike Mundy’s original motivation to make sure “our heroes today are treated better than our heroes in the past were”, Reel Thanx Vietnam’s mission is to give these veterans the honor and support they’ve long deserved.

Reel Thanx Vietnam participants are included in our scheduled trips and dedicated to local veterans who served in the Korean and/or Vietnam wars.

Non-local veterans are welcome to apply if able to provide for own transportation to/from Midland.

Completed applications are submitted directly from our website. Please be sure to have all your documents and information available before you begin filling out the  application. The application can not be saved and must be completed in one sitting. You will be able to upload/attach documents to the application. Once submitted, the application will be vetted  by our Board of Directors. This process can take up to a month or more, depending whether or not additional information is necessary after initial review. 

We take four quarterly fishing trips per year to Lake Amistad, Del Rio, Texas. We typically take six participants per trip. We will work with our participants to find a trip date which best accommodates their schedules. If you have any questions regarding our trips,
